Jooki failed to connect

The most common reasons for failing WiFi setup are listed below.

Jooki is already connected

Jooki might already be connected to your WiFi network. Try the web dashboard at my.jooki.rocks and check whether it can connect.

Wrong WiFi password

If a wrong password is used, Jooki will re-activate setup mode and will say "Please connect to the Jooki setup WiFi". Also the jooki-xxxx-setup WiFi will re-appear.

My network was not listed in the popup

Jooki can only use 2.4GHz WiFi networks, make sure 2.4 GHz is enabled in your router.

There are two types of WiFi networks: the standard 2.4GHz and the newer 5GHz. Jooki can only use the standard 2.4GHz WiFi network.

For Europe: Jooki only supports WiFi channels 1 - 11. Check that you are not using channels 12, 13 or 14. Turn off 'auto channel selection' as your router can then select channels 12, 13 or 14 causing unpredictable behavior.

The Jooki WiFi setup page didn't show

Try manually opening the Jooki WiFi setup page:

The Jooki appears to be connected fine,
but the dashboard and app cannot find it

Some routers prevent devices on the same network from communicating with each other.
